We haven't been in touch for a while I know, but there is big news! The shiny shed will be curating this year's arts trail, and it's going to be bigger, better and more outlandish than it was before! If you would like to get involved in any way, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Artists wanting to exhibit in the trail should email at the same address for their application form. For more info go to www.chelmsfordartstrail.com.
We are working on a new website at the moment, so this blog will no longer be maintained. To be kept up to date with shiny shed news and happenings, please go to www.theshinyshed.com

The shiny shed will be closing next wednesday (temporarily we hope...) in the meantime, make sure you come in and see us, we are going to try and cram in a few last minute events for your enchantment.
we will be putting on a show this monday, where you can come and meet all the artists involved in the project and enjoy some more art and music and magic and beer.
If anyone would like to take part in a game show this week entitled 'art or not art', please get in touch.
On a backwards note, Shakey put on a fantastic Oxjam event last Saturday. I will post some pictures now; we raised £40, and had a lot of fun- some amazing acts, look out for 'meow' and 'the secret project' x

As I am sure some of you are aware, Cherry-Ann has been visiting us every day since the beginning, and leaving a beautiful hand-made decoration for the tree. This week, it got to the point that we decided the tree was adorned to capacity, and so have given it a new branch. I have posted a photo of her creation, as well as a few medieval battle scene shots (picture this set to a robocop soundtrack as the sun sets, whilst you're trying your hardest to get some work done..)
